Honeycomb Calcite Onyx Stone Sterling Silver Sun Pendant Necklace Artisan Mid Century Modern Summer Cosmic Sunburst Inspired Yellow Honey

Inspired by glorious summer days; this sun pendant boasts a gorgeous all natural honeycomb calcite onyx stone that is semi-translucent with graceful, wispy patterning, and is sourced from Utah, home of some of the world’s most beautiful stones and ancient fossils. As a lapidary artisan, I hand cut this cabochon stone, giving it a nice smooth cut and a shiny polish. The mixed metalwork consists primarily of solid .925 sterling silver for the bottom plate and freely moving bail, with jeweler’s red brass being utilized for the overlay metalwork sun. The cabochon stone has been set with solid .999 fine silver serrated bezel. The artsy piece is textured with a slightly wavy line type of patterning and given a soft brushed satin finish with an oxidized/ antiqued patina.
