Visions of sun, surf and sandy turf are some of the ingredients that make up this super unique piece! I awoke to the overall design on a recent morning, and was completely exstatic by it, as it’s not quite like anything I’ve ever seen before. The upper portion of the piece I consists of two sheets of metal, solid .925 sterling silver, solid bronze, and then topped with the cabochon stone which is mounted with fine silver serrated (sawtooth) bezel. Solid .925 sterling silver jump rings connects the bottom portion of the pendant -the slight movement is nice. There are three layers of metalwork; solid .925 silver makes up the majority of it. The bottom layer is sterling silver, sandwiched with bronze that I gave a dark, oxidized patina to for contrast, and then topped with sterling silver fish bones. Part of my design is soldered, and hand riveted.
