The dreamy, 100% completely natural stone featured in this handcrafted, one of a kind pendant is a yellow banded lace honey Calcite Onyx, that is sourced from Mexico. Overall, this substantial piece took a whole lot of tedious work, patience and time to complete. I gave this thick, gorgeous stone a beautiful deep beveled cut with a high dome, and it took a very shiny polished finish. I utilized solid .925 sterling silver and sterling PMC (precious metal clay) for the metalwork. The cabochon stone has been set with solid .999 fine silver bezel. The top portion of the pendant consists of overlay work; three layers! The backside of the pendant features a really neat, overlay butterfly design that adds to the dreamy representation/ meaning of this piece.
